 Just how universal DanceSport has become over recent years is best reflected by the fact that 88 National Member Bodies are currently affiliated to the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF).
IDSF membership quadrupled between 1970 and 2009; it is projected to surpass 100 by 2012.
The World Rock 'n' Roll Confederation (WRRC), the International Dance Organsiation (IDO) and the United Country Western Dance Council (UCWDC) are Associate Members of IDSF. The International Professional DanceSport Council (IPDSC) and the International Paralympic Committee Wheelchair DanceSport Committee (IPCWDSC) have entered into formal cooperation agreements with IDSF. All of these organisations bring their own communities to an ever growing global sporting movement.
